Environmental Practice:
Great effort is made to provide plants that are appropriate to the site in terms of cold hardiness and resistance to disease, and that are native to the area and non-invasive, whenever possible. We research and select the best cultivars available.
For planting and maintenance procedures we follow the guidelines established by University of Massachusettes Extension Service. We encourage clients to compost and we recycle their compost into their gardens.
Comparing photographs of a garden before planting and after one year shows the success of good soil preparation and plant selection:

Mature trees are an invaluable part of the landscape. We work with qualified arborists to insure continuity of a tree health care program.
